The sky might be grey, but ladies are already thinking spring!

I just started taking custom orders for the Kentucky Derby this week and it's so inspiring to know that there are gals out there who are excited about warmer weather, fewer layers and looking fabulous in their hats!

If you have an event coming up, contact me for an appointment, bring what you are going to wear and I will create your hat with color, texture, scale, fabric weight, and the event in mind.

With 2-3 weeks turn around time, you'll be able to pick up your hat and extra fabric swatches with plenty of time to shop for shoes, bags, wraps, accessories...

The 2010 collection will feature 6 silhouettes, sure to please every gal in need of a hat. Whether this is your first foray in the millinery world or you are running out of room for your hat boxes, Jen McGowan Millinery will take good care of you in 2010.

And as always, we will have our classic milan straw hats with grosgrain bows to keep you pretty while enjoying the sun.

A beautifully face framing ivory hat with sheerness to create a little bit of mystery. Perfect with a spring or summer suit. Available in ivory only, as shown.

A great hat for the summer, with a breezy and nautical feel. The brim is semi-sheer. Lovely! Available in white/navy (as shown) or ivory.

Great for a garden party. Available in ice blue (as shown), red, light pink, apple green, ivory, yellow, orange and fuchsia.

A new shape for 2010, available in fuchsia (as shown), navy, white, black, red and orange.
